Our Debut Craft Fair – In Full Photos

Well what a day we had! The Cambridge Blue Belles lovingly hosted WIs from all over the country at our debut craft fair yesterday at St. Andrew’s Baptist Church in Cambridge.
Honourary Belle Caetlin helped decorate a beautiful MASSIVE sign to direct shoppers to the venue!

Vegan sugar cookies in dinosaur & heart shapes with chocolate chip neighbours – also of the vegan variety!
Armed with a kitchen full of homemade cake in all varieties (gluten free and vegan too – divine!), and kettle on the permanent boil, we opened our doors to welcome the eager Christmas shopping masses promptly at 10:30. We were overjoyed to welcome so many visitors from WIs who were passing through the city with their families and friends in tow.
Bures WI (Suffolk East Fed), had homemade hats & aprons aplenty on their fab stall!

Laura P and Clare (Cam City WI) checking out Boo’s Attics gorgeous wools in every texture and colour!

Mel (Blue Belle & LadyBird), wowed all with her gorgeous handmade jewelry & greetings cards!
Shoppers and stall holders alike commented on the great vibe that was floating its way around the room as all present chatted, swapping stories and holiday cheer in equal amounts!
Milton WI brought sweet things and lovely mini Christmas trees to sell

Orwell WI had everything sparkly with necklaces and bracelets galore!

Girton WI had socks handcrafted from angora to suit sports, hiking or leisure – something for everyone!
We’re delighted to report that we took a vow yesterday to make our Craft Fair an Annual affair – so get your diaries ready for the same again next year – a Craft Fair fit for a centenary!
Ruth (Cam City) posing beside our beloved Denman sign!
Looking forward to welcoming all again in 364 days time – let the homemade frolics and preparations begin!
